Dandalf and Giromir is a lockdown side-project from two of the Daniels from Danny Valentine and the Meditations alongside esteemed player Mike 'Jones' Jones (the Du-Rell Family). The album was recorded in pay by the hour rehearsal studios and DHR's mum's garage. Its lo-fi, psychedelic folky indie rock is the perfect soundtrack to our new lives. Using imagery and inspiration from the ocean and the animal kingdom to deal with the vagaries and limitations of isolation, A Forest, An Ocean is a warts and all summary of their experiences. They followed a fixed ethos, using limited equipment to make the album to try and re-create the joys of starting out in a band with your mates. Also available in an ultra limited cassette edition (on the march page).
